I like to think that they will be there if they are wanted or needed. Revelation is supposed to mention horses in Heaven. I don't recall seeing that, but I don't dispute it. As to pets, I would think that if we had loving relationships with animals, God in His infinite mercy would indeed allow them to come in 'on our coattails' so to speak. And who knows? If animals have the desire, why wouldn't God allow it? People miss out on Heaven mainly because they'd rather not go anyway.

Animals follow the same fate as people (if they're lucky) they get burried in a whole in the ground and become worm food
