I'd say at least 14 million people have heard of them, since that's how many copies of Fallen were sold. Actually 14,000,001 at least, because I know of them and like the music, but I don't own the album.

Yes of course They are on the lable Wind-up I believe they have 2 full length albums released on this lable and they also have a live cd dvd of their last tour. The lead singer Amy Lee was in a relationship with the front man of the band Seether (which is also an awsome band by the way) and on their new album Amy has taken over the majority of the song writing because the person who used to handle it left the band when they first hit it big. hope that might help if that is what u were looking for

yes, i have heard of them. a had a period where i lsitened to the radio more, and tried rock music more often, but i later came to realize i was not a real fan of evanescence, especially with the readios repeating the same songs over and over as well as mtv and other shows who used their work. but i do think she has an amazing voice and can tell that she was not only blessed with such talent but must have worked very hard to have such vocal mastery, for which i respect her determination and effort
