About 2-4 visits. RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAAANNN!!!!
-
Can't answer right now. I'm on my 50th straight hour. Just kidding. Pretty quick, I would have to say.
-
Took me about two days, after that I could have left if I wanted to, but did'nt want to. Now I'm to the point where I could'nt leave even if I wanted to.
-
About 4 seconds. after you see your first point, you can't help but want more.
-
Your first successful answer/question trade.

First time I saw this site I was at my friend Becky's researching broadband and I thought, 'oh, that looks good'. As soon as I got broadband I joined, and sort of never left. It's a bit like smoking. Some it takes a few times, some people just once to get addicted. I am a terrible addict I know, but then again I found so many things on here, love, happiness and even the occasional mind-blowing revelation, I wouldn't leave. I'll only leave when I'm on my way to America, and even then I probably won't. I think I'd better get Becky a card
-
2 days i think it was..i need to stay away..lol
-
like 2 seconds- as soon as you see that you can answer questions and are not judged by your point of view or the questions you post, you are hooked!
-
The moment you clicked on the site, you were done for. It's the subliminal messages Joel puts on the pages. You should also soon have the urge to wear aluminum foil hats and run around your house in your underwear. Luckily for me I did these things before I came to AB, so it eased the transition. Welcome, happy to have you.
-
It took me about 12 minutes. Odd how I remember the exact number...
-
Well lets see I have been on here 2 minutes.....
-
Too soon. I go to work, come home get on AB. Cooking supper, between food checks, get on AB. I don't even check my email anymore! I just get on AB...maybe we should start some type of twelve step program for addicted ABers. AB anonymous.....
-
I actually may be the aberrant member here. I first signed on here and answered a few questions back in March of this year (2006). I was pretty removed from the site for the next couple of months, but then was sucked in like all the rest of you. I think that I only was away for that time because summer was coming, and I can't be inside that much in the summertime. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/74755/92494
-
Took me about a day or two is all.
-
I took me about 3 days...lol
-
I don't know, but one sure sign that the addiction is taking hold is when you post a question that references this site. Welcome to the club:)
-
I'm pretty much like ptrask, I joined in January 06, but I wasn't very active at all until a few months later, in fact, I didn't answer any questions until April! Once I became quite active I was hooked within a few days.
-
The time it takes to log on...I have GOT to get some work done!!!
-
about the amount of time that it took you to get an account name and you will be here awhile
-
Not long at all.Haha.I've only been on here since the 19th of December and am really lovin it.:)I think I'm addicted to giving helpful thumbs up.
-
24 hours - or the first round of feedback.
-
Well it depends on your personal need for reassurance. The whole rating system, promotion system, and feedback system can actually stimulate the same emotional responses similar to that of making friends. Since many questions and answers here are of a intimate and personal nature, it allows one to confide in the whole system as if it were to actually "fill a void" in one's life, thus creating a pattern for the need to be accepted, and thus laying a foundation for true addiction. The questions and answers you are waiting for replys on are left hanging in space, leaving you incomplete to the point where you must ask another question, or answer others to kill the time in between recieving feedback. This is a form of withdrawl because it will irk you so bad right now , perhaps only for a millisecond, but it will irk you if the power went down on your computer. Oh, and when the power comes back on, you will be happy in knowing that you can come back to us, as if the new pack of cigarettes is already paid for, you just have to go pick it up.
-
after 10 mins.....it seems like ive only been on here for 20 mins but its already been an hour.....woah...
-
5 minutes... lol. I found this site last nite and i'm already hooked :P
-
If you love the sound of your own voice, you were addicted when you arrived. Ego fulfillment and camaraderie keep me coming back.
-
2 days. I'm hopeless now. At least it's free.
-
It doesn't take long, this website is damm addictive as are some of the people on here.
-
all of 5 secs
-
I think 2 seconds after u get it
-
It took me a while- but now I'm hooked!
-
I'm on here because I have nothing better to do at the moment. I could take it or leave it anytime because I control my mind, not the questions in the bag lol.
-
As soon as my email told me I had an answer to my first question and I returned to the site.
-
It took my two days. Literally, I went from 1 question to like 50 in two days.
-
One question worth of time? Not sure how many seconds that was!
-
not long at all!
-
quite quickly, but don't fear, it wears off just as fast unless you have no life whatsoever except for fictionally in your profile.
-
it only took me about 2 weeks till i began to feel that special addicting high in my system..a tingly sensation...many a times, i spend upwards of 8-16 hours..one time i did 22 hours in one day. AB is truly an addicts paradise...i love it.
-
Yes. Too long.
-
Ever since I read that someone won $5000 for answering a load of questions and getting high ratings I have been somewhat addicted to winning that money myself next time! Not too mention the things you can learn! lol
-
depends on the time of day and my current mood..but usually, iam here between 10 and 16 hours. on a very good day, i can log in 22 hours...i did at one time in february. AB rocks.
-
About 6 - 9 hour's
-
3 or 4 hours. 3 atleast during my classes, and one whenever im home. I do it on the side when im talking to my friends online on AIM & MSN
-
I think for some people it is. I'm not allowed to use this site alone anymore due to its highly addictive nature and my highly addictive personality. I have to use the buddy system, he is my voice of reason.
-
Good question! A very short time, maybe ten minutes. It's a good thing I have a lot to work on now so I can't waste my whole day here;-)
-
One day.... several hours. I need to find a Baggers Anonymous :)
-
for me it took about 10 sec flat. and now this is about the only site , that anyone would find me .
-
I started going on too much in 3 days... I was addicted in under a week.
-
...a minute for me!
-
i duno, i've apparently been here since june of last year and i wouldn't say i'm addicted. although i suppose i have reached a point where i'm here at least once a day nearly everyday...
-
2.568 seconds (too late)
-
One question and one answer, and you are stuck here forever....At least that's what happened to me.
-
A few dozen questions and answers and you become thoroughly BAGGED
-
It took me a week. DAMN THEM!!! ;-)

Not long at all, I have only been coming on here for 3 days and I can see it happening already.
-
the second answer. I only started yesterday, and I got 50 points just today. But, I get it...it has nothing to do with the points. We were just googling what the 'dangly thing is in the back of the throat,' (which us a uvula - thank you answerbag), and I got hooked. It is especially addictive if you think you are actually helping someone, or that you are actually funny. I hope I've been both so far.
-
About 4.5 seconds.
-
In my case, 1 hour.
-
3 days.
-
About 10 minutes.
-
Took me three hours on my first day lol :)
-
as soon as you see some ridiculous question that makes you laugh so hard even thought its not really that funny for me it was "oh no you didnt!"
