  • I called my grandpa "Grandpapa Cacahuète", Grandpa Peanut, basically, because I thought his head looked like a peanut. >_>
  • Dinckleberry Tacklewahcker, was granny's nickname. God Rest Her Soul.
  • I called my Grandmother mean ass. She didn't really care too much for children. When I turned about 16 is when we started to get close. She was cool! Mean as could be if you pissed her off. I hear I'm just like her when I get mad, but I dunno. God I miss her.

  • We always called my gran..Nana Jumble..because she always went to jumble sales(garage sales in the US)..And every time we would go to London to visit her she would have bags of toys for us to break..
  • We call my grandmother Nana because that's what she taught me how to say, and I'm her oldest grandbaby. We call my grandfather Bompa because when I was little, I spent an awful lot of time at their house, and whenever I tried to say "grandpa" it always came out "bompa". It's stuck with every grandchild since.
  • I called my father's mother Grandma and my mother's mother Ma. But my grandson calls me Dummi. I think he was trying to say Grammi and that's how it came out. I love it!
