  • I don't think your doctor will care, but it might save your baby a rugburn. :-)
  • I don't think that's a good idea, seeing as how the vagina's skin is more sensitive than face, legs armpit, etc., it might rupture more easily which is something you do not want.
  • it is better to shave before going into labour so it makes easier for doctors to perform the operation.
  • If it is necessary the medical staff have the proper tools and skill to do it, better and safer than you if you have never tried it before. And that matters, because a cut in that area require the midwife/doctor to be extra carful to keep mother and child from infecting eachother with any illnesses they do not already share. So I would advice you to not do anything except washing as per your usual procedure.
