  • I know a lot of people like that. It's unfortunate that my social circle consists of a lot of people like that who have attached themselves to decent people because they are after money or societal status. I have seen these people hurt a lot of my friends and my partners friends. I'm lucky that I have never personally had anyone blatantly use me because of what they thought they could get out of me, but I am unusually perceptive when it comes to the motives of other people. I think it all boils down to greed, a grandiose sense of entitlement, laziness and jealousy. These people aren't capable of achieving and attaining for themselves, so they attach themselves like vampires to others and drain them for everything they can. I don't mean to sound sexist, but in my experience, women are the worst. The term "gold digger" is very accurate.
