There are several methods that you can try. I will list a couple of methods for you. I got my information from this flooring site that has a lot of cleaning tips for floors: http://blogs.findanyfloor.com/consumer/CareAndMaintenance/RemovingWhiteGlueFromCarpet.xhtml Before you do anything... -Scrape or wipe away excess glue. -BE SURE TO AVOID ANY RUBBING as this makes it harder to get rid of the stain. -Perform a spot test to ensure any cleaning solutions are safe for your carpet. To remove fresh glue, try one of these methods: - Apply 1 teaspoon of dish soap with 1 cup warm water (not hot) to the glue. Blot (or GENTLY rub) the glue out of the carpet. Rinse and repeat as needed. - Apply 1 tablespoon of ammonia with 1/2 cup water. Blot, rinse, repeat as needed. - Blot the area with a clean white cloth or printless paper towel soaked in white vinegar. Rinse and repeat as needed.
