A back walkover is a smoother motion where you simply go into your backbend then a split handstand and roll through until you are in stand position again.

A back kick over starts the same way (kicking foot pointed in front) but when you are in your backbend just before your hands touch the ground you kick your leg and use the momentum to snap you around until standing position.
