Ok, I see you're back. As long as you don't go around targeting specific users with this crap, you have as much right as anyone to share and promote your views. However, for the record -- those views ARE very reprehensible and damaging -- at least the ones I've seen so far. You can count on people like me keeping an eye on you and flagging the admins whenever you decide to turn back to trolling behavior. Hopefully a few of the Christians here -- and we have a number who are very mature and well balanced -- will be able to speak to you in your own language about why your behavior yesterday was so offensive and inappropriate.
-
Yes it was i don't by any means think you are gaining any souls by your offensive action targeting people and there beliefs it is one thing when someone asks you question. And I do appreciate the fact that you are attempting to share what you think you know but no one here want to hear your selfrighteous babling, you have been told!
-
I think that this question is a very touchy subject, and rather hard to answer. I suppose it all depends on what you believe.
-
I'm not sure the ins and outs of wiccian if its a religion or a philosophy. That having been said it is written "No one comes to the father except through me." -Jesus Without faith in Christ only those who can not be held responsible for themselves can enter the kingdom of heaven.
-
In my opinion, bow2thelord, you are doing what you would regard as "the devil's work" by your behaviour this evening. You are doing the best job possible to convince people that Christianity is the unthinking persons religion, ready with a mindless knee-jerk, unreasoned, answer to every question. If you wish to convince people, you will have to give reasons for your answers, not produce your photocopier solutions to every problem. As it happens, I know many other, more reasonable, Christians, and I have every respect for their beliefs. But you are doing your best to smirch their faith.
-
bow2thelord: My point exactly. You are not preaching, you are ranting. You damage that which you purport to love.
-
Edit: This question was originally asked under the general religion category, and has since been moved. This is the general religion section, so I am - again - going to have to ask you to specify the God to which you are referring. Not all Witches are Wiccan; however, the Wiccan ones have a Deity, and they will be able to enter into whatever arrangements for the afterlife they have with that Deity.
-
somebody has to take care of the entertainment
-
Wicca is benign. Very few wiccans would want to do harm to others - probably about the same percentage as Christians. I think God is open to Wiccans who are good people - and to Buddhists, animists, atheists, Shintoists, Hindus, and all others who are good people.
-
If they repent and get washed in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. -In the service of the Master. Thank you and God bless you!
-
If my maternal grandmother is in the Kingdom of God, the answer has to be yes. I can write a book describing the damage that old witch/bitch created on this world.
-
what makes you think we want to? i have no use for your kind of god.
-
no. the Bible says rebelliousness is as the sin of witchcraft. so it's saying that witchcraft is a sin.
-
well, being a Christian, when i see the the name God i think of no other god but the one true God. and sin is anything you know to be wrong but do it anyway.
-
If she has been cleansed through the blood of Christ the Father will accept her into His kingdom.
-
Anyone can enter the kingdom of God. But first they have to accept him and believe in his commandments.
-
Sure if "God" wants to allow Dr.Laura who is a witch (but with a "B" instead of a "W") into his kingdom thats alright with me.
-
Witches do not believe in any christian god, nor his 'kingdom.' Therefore, why does it matter? Our gods and goddesses do not punish, but rather, are accepting of who we are and what we choose to do. We harm none, and look forward to an afterlife according to our beliefs. We do not need nor do we wish to be 'converted' or 'saved.' We do not try to convert others; why is it always so imperative that we be converted? :-/

The Catholic Church believes that those who die never hearing of Christ but have sought the truth and does the will of God as they understand it can be saved. See Romans 2:13-16. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1257-1261: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2sect2.htm#1257 With love in Christ.
-
Two double negatives don't amount to anything.
-
Sure, if they convert and become Christian by your rules. However those of us who are Wiccan don't want to be Christain so it's a moot point to us. We have our own Gods and Goddesses and our own place we go when we die. To us we all travel diffent paths to that same end so the place we go excepts everybody reguardless of who they call "God" and based soley on what kind of person they were. My fiance who passed was Christian and so is most of my family. I still fully expect to spend Eternity with them when I die. By the way he felt the same way about his God. He never believed that God would send a good person to hell based on what their beliefs were. He believed that all religions were an expression of one faith.
-
Witches are already in the kingdom of GOD.This entire universe is GOD's kingdom.
-
A witch doesn't believe their is a KINGDOM of God! A witch believes in Afterlife, not judgement before moving on. We are judged in this life with our own undoings, the law of Karma. So NO! A witch wouldn't care weather or not they entered some Kingdom because they don't believe one exists!
-
Only if they've got a really good costume and really know how to say "Trick or Treat."
-
No and neither can a church member!
-
if you are refering to the god of christianity then what makes you think that we would or wouldn't enter the "kingdom of god"? first off wiccan witches don't belive in heaven or hell. second off wiccan witches don't worship the christianity god so we don't believe in going into the "kingdom of god". better luck next time.
-
Of course not, doesnt it say in the christian bible "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" Why would i want to enter a place that has no exsistnace in my belief?
-
The Bible clearly answers that where Writing to those in Galatia, the apostle Paul included spiritistic occultism among “the works of the flesh,” warning them about spiritism: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.” Galatians 5:19-21
-
why ? and by the way what god ? god is a job description and title , not a name.
-
The kingdom of which god?
-
Which god?
-
i think so because everyone that prays and believes in the bible no matter what version it is is a witch to me. because they pray and believe and use their will. why not call everyone a witch?? yes i think witches can get into heaven.
-
My question is would a witch WANT to go to the kingdom of heaven. that is not our place
-
sort of like asking if a christian to enter the summerlands... or Valhalla
-
Well, there are those who call themselves Christian Wiccans, so I would ask them.
-
