  • Nero would work. iMovie would work. Windows Movie Maker might even work. These programs have great help files, but if you can't figure it out, tell me which program and I'll try to help.
  • A free program called DVD Flick exists that makes it really, really easy to burn DVDs. Practically drag and drop simplicity. http://www.dvdflick.net/ And yes, it handles AVI files, DivX, XviD and otherwise.
  • First, check whether your DVD player can handle AVI files. Many modern ones can, in which case you can just place the file on the DVD as it is.
