I have learnt much more about people themselves than I have about certain issues or social events since my time on AB - What have you gained from your time here?

I have learned that there are people in the world who know EXACTLy what I feel and who know exactly how my childhood was..who know what it's like to live every second of every day lonely and wishing they were dead. I also have found out that in this world of hate and anger and all the other bad things that when a person is having a bad day, total strangers will come together to try to cheer them up by telling them jokes or just by being there to listen. I can't get people who claim to be offline friends to be there for me but online friends who I will never meet care about me..

I've gained an even deeper respect for the meaning of love Acting out from a place that is sincere and true and real Even when it's harder to really show yourself and do right Not hiding against the wall of ego and self doubt What I have gained from my time here, nearly 6 months Is an ever increasing interest in questions and answers Loyalty, commitment, and consistent kindness to my friends Respect to all. Hatred toward none. I learn a lot about a lot of everything being here. I feel grateful.
