  • I do my own income tax returns.
  • We do our own with a computer program and then have my dad double check it; it's his program so we use that every year and we've never had a problem or been in trouble the IRS. It's actually very nice because you can choose which way to file so that you get the most money back or pay the least according to your household situation. I believe the program is called TaxAct. It also is free, unless you file over the internet but even then I think we only paid about $15 or $20 dollars, and you don't have to worry about paying a service for it or sit and wait for your turn. We usually get our return about a month or two after filing.
  • taxact.com has a great tax program. I have used it for years and it is free. If you want to file electronically, it's better to buy the program (about $10) and you get a free efile.
  • I have an accountant that does mine.
  • My wife and I do them together. We used to use a friend who was retired from the IRS, but then she passed away. The next year we examined the forms and figured that we could do it ourselves even though the tax laws seem to change almost every year.
  • I do my own
  • I do my own
  • I have a CPA do them. Not just any CPA though, I found someone who will really work for me so I pay as little as possible to the gov't and it's still legal.
  • do my own
  • I take mine to H&R Block have them done and spent by feburary!
  • I tried once to do it myself... After hours of trying to understand where to put each number, I paid an accountant to do it. I've been paying someone else to do it ever since.
  • I ask someone to do my Incm tax. I trust him, there for I feel confident that I’m going to get some money back, and the other reason is, I have no idea how to do it. I hope this helps.
  • Over here we PAYE or usually have an accountant. I have the latter
  • I do my own. At this point in my life, my taxes are simple. Who knows what I will decide to do in the future.
  • I use TaxCut. It's about the same as TurboTax, but was created by Kiplinger Magazine, who I have great respect for. Now it carries the H&R Block name. I am self-employed, so I have to file a schedule C, etc. The program sorts it all out for me, and ensures all the correct forms are completed. I trust it completely, and it's cheaper than even the department store tax preparers who I wouldn't trust to file an EZ form.
  • I DO MY OWN SINCE THEY ARE SO EASY TO DO
  • I do my own, and since I work for H&R Block, I do other peoples' as well...
