Let the animal police do their job.

Well then they will come and get the dogs and let them take care of it the legal way so that you might be able to get the dogs and her not able to fight for them back.

Is the order against the house or her person? It should state 500 feet from her, or from the residence. Is your name on the lease or title? If so, have a friend go check for you.

I ran out of space. The police said they will only pass by to check it out, even hesitant about providing me with documentation that I called. The restraint is against the house, which is in my name but you know how those type of things work. She just got a BS temporary to clear out the house and have time to prep for divorce. My only concern is that I take care of the pets and she never did. If I have a friend go by, I go to jail. Thanks :(

There is a way to get your belongings out of the house, even with the restraining order. You pay a fee at the sheriff's office to get one to accompany you, for the purpose of retrieving your belongings. He will then enter the house, and stand by while you remove your things. You can check on the pets at that time.
