i think its a toss up i mean if you can stop them without killing them then i think it is a sin because you didn't have to take their life just have to stop them.
Also ppl that claim they were abused for years then out of the blue kill that person then claim self defence are mental problems i think that is a sin.

    • Years of abuse and then "suddenly"? Not so sudden. Mental indeed, but a pot that was long overdue for explosion.

Of course no few have taken that defense.

    • Killing in self defense is no sin. Who in their right mind is going to stop in the middle of a firefight and ask himself, 'gee, can I just shoot the gun out of his hand?' That kind of Lib thinking would only get more people killed, including you, if you happen to miss. Is THAT a sin?

    • It's amazing how many folks claim self defense. I blew him away in "self defense" because I thought he was going to hurt me with that pen knife.

Whatever happened to "aiming to disarm"? When a person reloads to continue blowing away someone, it's not self defense.

Amazing how easy it is for a Con to rationalise the use of deadly force.

    • If everyone who flew in an aircraft were REQUIRED to carry, no terrorist anywhere could take over a plane with a toenail clipper either. The law says you can shoot all you want as long as you leave one bullet in a chamber. Nobody said anything about reloading. That's just liberal hype.

    • If everyone who flew in an aircraft were REQUIRED to carry a gun, we'd have way MORE 9/11's. Because all it would take is one Xtian with a Martyr complex to decide he needs to take everyone else out.

One bullet, one window, explosive decompression. The leading cause of death for Rednex: Playing chicken with a train, or a gun 'accident'.

    • That's why that Hawaiian Air jet that lost it's entire top was able to make a safe landing, huh? Planes are tougher than you imagine. And your scenario is stupid. There are many far more logical ways to become a martyr than to emulate a Hell-bound muslim fanatic.

    • You obviously have never worked on repairing a plane. Not all planes are created, nor maintained equally.

I'm sure you know all about fanaticism.

    • That was exactly my point. That plane was NOT maintained properly and yet it landed safely. A single bullet to a window will be an annoyance, no more.

    • Air Hawaii was at the level of 23,000 feet. Which isn't that far off the level for Mt Everest.

A pity that a "safe landing" wasn't in the cards for Mr. C.B. Lansing. Nuts to him eh?

A pity that the same couldn't be said for Japan Airlines Flight 123.

      OR Air India flight 182.

      Shall I continue?

Or will you continue to ignore reality?

    • And not a bullet in sight. Go ahead. Waste all the time you want. You argue for only one purpose, to be contrary. Logic and sense have no hold on you.

    • Illogic and nonsense have no hold.

None so blind as those who will not see. Obviously your Religious sensibilities inspire you to attack anything I say. Mr Larry Lemming.
