If Avian Flu wipes out half of America's population, will that spell the end of its economic dominance?

    i might be wrong, but i believe china's "economic dominance" is rising.. Anyways, were you wondering about world wide scale "dominance" or just America itself? because yes. if America lost half it's population, its dominance would end.. But what Half of America? how is the poverty rate in America? if only the poor poor half of America died.. possibly America will hold it's dominance, but now it raises other questions. How poor was the poor? were those people so poor they couldn't even contribute Back to their economy? (i imagine the scenario that only the rich and middle class can afford any prevention or health care against Avian Flu thats why the poor will suffer a greater.. you know) there are yes and nos here~ good question. i might have given a bad answer lol

    • The poor are the backbone of the American economy. They make money for the rich, who only sort that money.
