Would a Cobra 19LTD be a good radio just for basic use in a city living next to a heavy expressway and 5 Truckstops?

    Yes, cobra makes some of the best simple models around, I personaly like the 29 for a simple radio, has a built in swr meter for calibrating the antenna.
