Question

Help answer this question below.

I answer the question "How are you doing?" asked by co-workers with a "Not too bad." I need an alternative that says, "Thanks for asking, but since you are just being polite and don't want to know enough to have a real conversation, I will just say XXXX".

What are you trying to prove? That you're not conventional? That you're a non-conformist? It's already been done. It's become a cliche. Stick to "not too bad," or you might even get off an enthusiastic, "terrific--and I hope you are too."

What's the point of downing everyone?
