Would you stop buying stuff made in China by knowing they are made in sweatshops or because buying Chinese made goods will eventually lead to you loosing your job?

    Because all human beings are interdependent, the decisions we in the West make can have huge consequences for people in the East.

    I am not in favour of sweatshop labour, but if the factories are forced to close the income of many poor families in the area would be seriously affected from the loss of the tiny sums they make from the sweatshops and their lives could be made worse.

    For every action there is a reaction, and boycotting sweatshop could either have a positive or negitive effect.
