Help answer this question below.

There are finds of ultra deep oil deposits in the oceans, often over a mile deep. Assuming it is fossil fuel, how did dinos & prehistoric biomass end up so deep in the ocean to form oil deposits?

    The oceans have grown and receded many times For instance almost all of Florida used to be underwater.
