At what age can you handle baby rabbits without the mum getting too distressed? My baby rabbits are 3 weeks old and I have only held them a few times very briefly, but I was wondering when I could hold them and give them a proper cuddle?

It depends how the mother is, and your relationship with her. sometimes you can hold them when there days old baring in mind that you have cuddled the mother to get her sent onto you, when you have done this and your sure the mother isnt botherd at all, you cant hold them for a short lenth of time to chek them over, this way you know the babies are fine and have fat bellys!, i have a litter of 7 at the moment and the mother is fine with me checking the babies are ok.

2 weeks is fine for you to hold them, baring in mind that you give the mother a propper cuddle first!
