The term "Christian" is a vauge word these days, so therefore no I wouldn't use the term Christian Bible. And if I am refering to the Hebrew Bible, I will call it the Torah. And if I am going to state the Bible I believe in, I will refer the translation of the Bible such as the New International Virsion or The King James translation.
But yes, the origional bible was written in Hebrew.
"Calling the Torah the "Old Testament" is incorrect because it assumes the existence a "New Testament."
But there is a New Testament? Not acording to the Hebrew Bible, but to the "Christian" Bible. When I stated it that way, I was mainly seeing it from my point of view, I didn't mean to offend any Jewish people by saying it that way.
But I am asuming that you are Jewish though?

the popular custom of referring to the bible by "old" and "new" testaments is wrong. the correct way of calling the two sections of the bible is "hebrew" and "greek" scriptures. by saying old testament as most people of the christendom churches do; the implication is that this part of the bible is outdated. nothing can be further from the truth. there is still much to learn from the hebrew scriptures. there are many prophecies to be fulfilled. there are stories to learn from the ancient serveants of God. the hebrew scriptures is jam packed with so much history, personal accounts, and divinely inspired counsel, but sadly many choose to ignore it. one of the prophecies being ignored by many is that the Son of God would lay his life down on behalf of mankind. isaiah gave a very graphic description of his sufferings. the gospels in the greek secriptures are witnesses to the fulfillment of this prophecy. he is being rejected as the promised messiah simply because he does not fit the description of what many think he should have filled. this doesn't mean he was not the promised seed. there are still more prophecies he will fulfull in the future. the one prophecy and most important one that says how he would be bruised in the heel, has been fulfilled upon his death. (genesis 3:15)the rest of this prophecy about him bruising the serpeant in the head is for the future now at hand! Jesus Christ as reigning king of the promised Kingdom is about to take action and fulfill many prophecies found in the Hebrew (not "old" testament)scriptures. too many prophecies to even begin to mention. one reason many have a hard time accepting the Lord and King Jesus Christ is because of the way false religion depicts him. they want to convince others that he is also God. he hever said he was God, but the Son of God Almighty.(john 10:31-36)this however, does not mean he is not the promised messiah.
