You can have strep and not have a sore throat. You can actually get "strep bottom." My kids have had this a couple of times - you get a rash that radiates down the thighs, but no fever.

Strep "throat" always gives you a sore throat and it's usually the first symptom, swiftly followed by a fever and body aches and often a headache (I get regular bouts of strep.)

    • First sentence: "You can have strep and not have a sore throat."
Third sentence: "Strep 'throat' always gives you a sore throat..."

What kind of a stupid answer is that?
