No, and I especially think that the accent from the Carolinas sounds sophisticated. It is that twangy Arkansas hillbilly sound that makes people think they sound unintelligent. I live in California, and the hip hop sounding slang is the most ignorant sounding speech I've ever heard. They have the hillbillies beat on sounding dumb.
