How do Christians feel about people of other faiths celebrating Christmas?

    How do we think God feels about this? First christmas is not a pure christian holiday. This holiday was created with pagan views and customes. This holiday was never part of pure worship. We must remember that God requires that we worship in spirit and truth. Almost verything about christmas is a lie, made up, or part of pagan religions. Do we realy think celebrating a holiday that was originated from mans ideas and false gods realy pleases Almighty God. Of course not. Does God approve of celebrating a holiday that is half christian and half pagan. Of course not. If it is not part of true worship that is spoken of in the bible than who is influencing such a holiday. That would be non other than satan the devil. If christians were supposed to celebrate this holiday it would have been in the bible. There was no comand to celibrate nor any history of Jesus at his birthday party or the apostles celibrating this holiday. The truth is there are far more reasons not to celebrate in order not to offend Almighty God than to celebrate and have a good time with friends and family. Remember we must please God rather than men.

    • Good answer. The same applies to the pagan celebrations of Easter (Oestare) and Halloween (Samhain).

    • Now, as for holidays being in the Bible, it's interesting that we don't celebrate Hanukkah, seeing as how the Gospel of John actually mentions Jesus going to Jerusalem for that very feast (John 10:22 ) Just a thought...
