What age should you tell your children santa is not real and how do you explain why you lied to them so long?

    Hi im 10 years old so heres some advice. i found out this year actullaly i found out today but you should tell your kids at 10 or 11 because my sis still loves santa claus and she always gets soooo excited. And if they asked why you lied say because "santa is real in your hears and is still real in mine but he we wanted you to feel that special feeling" that i would want to here
