  • I don't think we necessarily have to give up or sacrifice anything. It's when the powers that control become to oppressive that people lash out and chaos ensues. Throughout time people kept order in clans, in groups, in towns and eventually cities and then countries by agreeing to moral codes and eventually laws. Obviously not everyone will follow these laws and that because in a clan everyone served a purpose, if one person didnt do their job the whole clan might suffer or even starve. But now we live in a system that those who don't do get a handout from those that do, it's almost socialism in a sense. Still this system works because we allow people to police us, and make laws for them to govern us by....problem is they like to police us a little too much at times and again people will lash out at this control. They like to make us think that without police and laws enforced and so havily as they are that society would break down but that's not proven fact and mankind has a natural way (being the social creatures we are) of gathering together and making a code to live by. Even places in the world that are untouched by the rest fo the world have clans that live by rules and moral codes to keep order. We have allowed in most of the "civilized" world for the business of order to become a business and 90% or laws and policing is not about keeping order but in making money off of those that are policed in it's system.
