I am a leader when i want to be sometimes i don't want to get involved.
-
I am both, but in the case of ansswering this question first, I guess I am, at this moment, a leader. No good leader can lead effectively until he/she learns to be a follower. But even the lowliest follower is being followed by someone and is, thus, a leader.
-
I am a vague, wandering outsider, neither leader or follower, just happy sort of drifting
-
i am a leader! i am really competiave and outgoing. so you don't have to be eather one if you dont want to.
-
Usually leader, and i don't like to not be a leader, but... if i really need to i can be a follower (i know when its time to just back down)
-
Both. I have enough experience in life to take initiative on certain things. On the flip, I think it's important to learn from others as much as I possibly can.
-
if there s a strong leader to follow then i will follow but a leader needs to be found i am stepping up to the plate
-
I march to the beat of a different drummer. Sometimes people follow, but I have a feeling it is more out of a sense of morbid curiosity than anything else.
-
i am mostly a leader because i usually know what to do in a situation and i like that...but when its time to be a follower (there really IS a time to be that) i just do that....but i believe that if she jumped off a bridge, would u do it?no so i try to be pretty independent on decisions and everything but i gladly help people out
-
I'd like to think i am a leader. I am captain of my highschool track team, and i don't do drugs and i don't drink. But my parents think i'm a follower... idk why
-
I'm out there on the side, doing my own thing. I can follow someone who is going where I want to go. If anyone wants to follow me - why, you're welcome. But somehow, neither of those scenarios works out, and I end up off on my own.
-
Both. I'm adaptable.
-
I have the mind of a leader, disguised in the body of a follower.
-
Both. I have the ability to take controll and get the job done. But at the same time, I know when to back down and let someone more expierenced take the wheel... However I'm happiest just being me while standing back and watching the crowed.
-
part leader part follower there is a time for everything....
-
Im a leader. :D
-
more of an observer than anything
-
Leader. Period....
-
I am a leader, I never let someone talk me into doing things that I should not, and usually talk them out of it. I would be a follower also, if I respected that person, and I knew they would not steer me wrong.
-
No one who doesn't know how to follow can lead.
-
I circle the pack and pick off the weak.
-
Leader. I follow when required but being the only child, I have had to learn to fend for myself and more often then not, in my adult years my role has been as a leader to my children and in the workplace.
-
Both I'm a Leadower (Leader+Follower). lol
-
Kinda both..I tend to lead when I need to and then follow when someone else is the leader
-
I'm both. It just depends on what it is.
-
I'm usually always a leader I like to lead in my own personality, style, and stuff like that, but as far as some things I can be both I garee with most of you I like to learn form people and get some of their ideas too.
-
Both. If the situation calls for me to be a leader,I'm more than happy to oblige and if the situation calls for me to follow then I oblige also.I'm versatile.
-
I prefer to stay out of that whole mess all together. I'm occasionaly forced to be a leader by people who insist upon following me, but I've never been a follower.
-
I would like to think I am a leader; however, everyone follows someone or something else.
-
I am a leader, but always a follower of Jesus Christ.
-
Both. I am a leader in that I lead my friends and those that respect me to do whats right. I also lead them as I make a role model for what comes down to a pretty good example of what to do. I am a follower in that I follow the steps taken by others, both dead and alive, as a way to live my life, and I follow God to make the final consideration of important decisions.
-
All of us are both. It's called Learning.
-
Neither I suppose, I just run off and do my own thing, if everyone is is too stupid to advise themselves on what to do next then I guess that's tough. If you are going to wait around for someone to come along to take control them you are over!!
-
neither. I dance to the beat of my own drum.
-
leader, i like more to lead than to follow, i like people listening to my instructions and my way to do things.
-
I'd say we are leaders if we offer answers to questions, I say we are followers if we make fun of ones question.
-
By birth Leader and an informed Follower (if I have confidence in others, not the blind one).
-
THere is no clear right or wrong answer. Just like any random sample of the population, some will be leaders, others will be followers. And of course, it depends on the situation you are in whether you are a sheep or a shepherd. For example, if I'm in a team climbing the Himalayas, I'll be a follower, since I don't know the reange, I know very little about climbing and I'm not in a circumstance where I would consider myself an expert. Likewise on here, I would defer to the experts in certain categories for which I don't feel I have the capacity to answer well. In others however I'll write as much as I can type without having a biscuit break.
-
I prefer the leadeship role. I don't like following people, ever. But, if need be..... I will.
-
I am a brave leader.
-
I think I'm a leader of a follower.
-
both...its kinda like the number 2 rule in judo "mutual welfare and benefit"...also can mean,i might be your boss (or whatever) but i will learn from you as well as you learning from me
-
I am a leader in all things. This is extremely detrimental to me learning to ballroom dance. I reaaaaaaaaaaLLY wish my husband would just learn how to follow. Who would really know except for me and him!
-
I am a leader and a control freak.
-
i will often lead, unless there is someone more suitable to do it
-
I'm a leader, because Bob is a leader, and I do everything he does.
-
Both. For the most part, we're ALL leaders and followers, because in order to be a leader we had to follow someone's example, right? That makes them a leader, we a follower- and when it comes time to lead, we follow their example while others follow our lead. Catch my drift?
-
I follow. Well...not really, i just wander behind.
-
I suppose I am a leaderless follower, probably means I am totally certain i am in a quandry most of the time
-
a bit of both but mainly a leader
-
In between if there is such a thing. I don't so much like to follow people around everywhere and I like to do my own thing. But at the same time I don't like other people following me either, and anyways a leader is a really a servant, atleast should be.
-
I like to think of me as a leader, even that it's sometimes excessively demanding...
-
Basically a born leader, but an informed follower.
-
I can be a follower and leader most importantly,I have my own mind.
-
was a follower with no real thoughts of my own. No more. Now I lead. I follow my heart and my feelings and my mind only ( except for following my religious beliefs).
-
Most people think they're leaders...why don't you just ask if people they like being sheep? Oh yes, I am NOT a leader btw. Sheeps rule!
-
I am a leader, but a team player as well.
-
i am a follower though my stubborness makes me sometimes a leader.. people are often want to hear my side.. but basically i just want to be a follower and at the same time guide my fellows..
-
When interacting with other people I tend to be the leader, and I'm liking it. Love to teach and entertain. But at the bottom of my heart there is nothing more comforting than being lead by someone you trust.
-
I'm both, when I need to be.
-
Definetly a follower. I can't be bothered to lead, and frankly, I don't think that anyone can be bothered to follow me.
-
follower I submit too easly
-
Neither. I'm a loner. I'd rather not lead *Or* follow, I prefer to just hang back and watch.
-
Neither I am an introvert.
-
Both if the decisions are wise.
-
Both. I like to jump in with both feet when I know that I am good at something and have something to teach, but I like to stay open-minded in order to learn from the wisdom of others.
-
I can be both in many situations. At work, I am innovative and choose to lead. I am recognized for my tenacity and ability to think outside the box. With friends, I lead and yet am able to follow in the shadow of one that is of greater strength than I can be at this moment. At home, I can provide guidance, but really have but one choice, follow their pudgy, muddy, and hairless feet. My kids rule this roost.
-
Both. There is always someone wiser than me, from whom I can learn, and there's always someone who can use my guidance.
-
i tend to be a leader. following is what got me in trouble in my younger days.
-
I'd say I'm a bit of both, but more a leader!
-
I don't follow or lead. I stand to the side and watch everyone else go by.
-
I'm a leader despite my aimless indirection. ::
-
If you've read my answers to other questions, you tell me whether I lead or follow. I find that folks aren't very good at self analysis. So, let me hear from you. RF
-
I prefer to be a follower as its less responsibility and i like things nicely chalked out for me to work on. Leading is too full of responsibility and headaches and requires a follow through which i havent got.
-
I'm a leader.
-
we are all followers,we just came.
-
lkeader but not by choise its just that every one turns to me but i still take the choises as seriously as i would if i choose to be the leader
-
I know i am a leader because i don't take order very well. And im not content with the outcome of things unless i have some control over it.
-
I am a follower when I am learning things from others, and a leader when I have knowledge to give to others.
-
It depends on how confident I am with the situation. If I know what I need to do and where I'm going, I'll lead. If I haven't a clue, I'll follow. I like to be a leader. But I end up being both.
-
Neither, I do whatever I want, if someone else follows, it's their business.
-
I am not a follower,i am not a leader, so i guess i just do my own thing : )
-
I'm a leader. I set the trends
-
I am a companion. I do not lead, though I offer good ideas. I am not a follower for I want to walk by someone's side as an equal.
-
I don't tend to be either. I've never followed an individual or have led others. I'm independent, and do my thing.
-
I lead by subtleties. You will follow, but will think it was all your idea. : )
-
I just do my own thing and i don't care about the others i just do what i want.
-
A counsel.
-
a leader of course
-
A little of both. Sometimes I know what I am doing, so I lead, and others I have no clue so I follow. And better yet, I team up and share the lead a lot. Too much power could go to my head. ;-)
-
... like Katie2, a bit of both, with a bit more leadership due to having been a military instructor and now being a self defense instructor.
-
The one who leads the leaders.
-
Im a little of both.
-
leader
-
I'm more a 'get out of the way' type...;-D...
-
Definitely a Leader when necessary but an extremely good follower when it is appropriate. Anyone who believes he/she is totally one or the other isn't being honest, is a total doormat or an absolute dictator! :)
-
I am a leader..but not of others. I only direct where I want to go.
-
i am the leader of the followers!
-
I've been a leader in almost everything I've done in life. So, I would say both, since a good leader has to know how to follow.
-
I am a leader in my own life, and hope it spills out every where else.
