Generally at the wrong time in their lives. There is a lot of social pressure, peer pressure, and natural human desire. Sometimes the individuals are not mature enough to handle the emotional baggage that comes along with sexual relationships. Premature pregnancies can force teens to change their entire life plans and having a baby before they are prepared to financially provide for a family can really be a life long problem. Haven't even started talking about AIDS and other STDs.

beaker95 I remember, you see, about the "Bourne" films. One assumed you were his number one fan and had his back catalogue on show, pride of place, in your library room. I watched the first two films, "Identity" and "Supremacy" this week, on my satellite box. What a coincidence. It's like we are twins, me being the backwards one with a limp and cleft pallet. Humans (people) start having sex at birth. Humans are sexual beings from birth. Infants as they explore their bodies as they learn to use their hands and fingers find their genitals. They quickly learn it feels good to touch their genitals. Children progress through stages of sex then one day they engage in intercourse and other aspects of sexual activity. So we all started having sex very soon after birth.

My qualifier as a young man was a strong loving energy in my heart, then allow the sexual expression. That was in my 20's. (I assume you are not talking about masturbation as having sex, then it would be too young to remember.)
