Why do asians have short eye lashes, is it from the family side or the asian backround?

By asians, I assume that you are referring to those of Japanese, Korean and Chinese descent. Most asians tend to have smaller eyes, and generally the length of eyelashes is usually proportionate to the size of the eyes. However, there are exceptions, so I believe it is a combination of genetics and the asian background. I would also classify Indians as asian. Most Indians typically have larger eyes and hence longer eyelashes. And yes, I am asian.
