  • this is a strange coincidence, ive just this second sent an email to environmental health(you probably have similar/same agency near you) the people next door to me have breeding kennels in their back garden which require a license, which i hope they haven't got also she made the mistake of getting abusive toward our landlord earlier today thinking he was a tenant of one of the flats, now hes got it in for her and is telling everyone to make complaints to their estate agents and environmental health. i think the dogs may soon be quiet.
  • Tell them that you happen to know someone that knows how to remove vocal chords from dogs.
  • Step one: Politely tell them that their dog has been keeping you awake. Step two: In the even that Step One fails, poison the dog. Antifreeze works great and it's easy to pass off as a mistake.
  • If it is after 10 PM, call the cops and report it.
  • I'd probably just laugh. It's like what are the chances, you know? But, I am pretty easy going.
  • I've got earplugs for just such an occasion because our neighbors dog never shuts up.
  • Talk to the people....and if they don't do anything tell the police
  • tell them to quiet their dogs or you'll report them to the proper authorities... in a nice, non threatening manner :)
  • Dear poor guy Who can't sleep because of Barking Dogs, I would suggest talking to the neighbor and making it clear to them that their dog is giving you trouble sleeping. if that fails and the dog is outside during the night...invest in a good supersoaker/squirtgun/whathaveyou and aim for the face. it is a training method used to encourage dogs to stop doing what their doing. hope this helps
  • I cry and usually have a panic attack. I am so close to them, I can hear their toilet flush in the summer. I don't lay anything. If I get bad enough, my husband mught.
  • If you don't want to report this to authorities, give that dog a drugged food which will not kill him but strong enough to slow down his barking.
  • Call my neighbor and say "Hey, ______ would you mind bringing the dog in. I know he's keeping you up too. Thanks. See you in the morning. 'bye"
  • Shoot it.
  • I go knock on their door and ask them to take care of their pet.
  • A T-Bone steak works wonders.
  • Duct tape?
  • Speak to them politely and let them know the situation. If they still do nothing, you can either invest in earplugs or call the authorities.
  • try earplugs..
  • Series of escalations, assuming prior doesnt work (a) Speak to them politely (b) Speak to them again politely, reminding of previous conversation (c) Speak to them again politely, saying it's really affecting your sleep (d) Note in the mailbox asking them to cease - cc: lawyer, authorities if necessary (e) If they are close by, hit them with light pollution bright enough to keep them up at night (buy some high intensity lights and shine on their house - they'll get the picture. It may cost you, but its worth it. (f) involve the authorities actively
  • Tell the neighbours that you have heard there are dognappers in the area that are stealing the same breed as their dog - and as their dog barks quite a lot it is almost begging to be taken.......see if they take it in ;0)
  • U can put some benedril(sleeping pills) in some cheese to make the dog sleep. Put lots of pills in the cheese for big dogs. If that doesn't help, you can put something else in the cheese. May your neighbor's dog rest in peace.
  • Calling the police will not help. Contact Animal Control. The police deal with humans not dogs.
  • Ever seen the movie "Keeping Mum"? ;)
  • you should call animal control obviously they aren't paying any attention to there dog, and they should get it taken from them...
  • Oh, now, I don't know. I believe in dog. Seriously. And if he were your dog, too, you'd accept anyone else's dog.
  • tell them and if they dont listen call animal control
  • day 1 > polite day 2 > rude day 3 or 4 > cops (o yah, they'll show up for this) day 7 > hire a dognapper
  • talk to them and if they dont lsten than report the matter.
  • CALL DA COPS!!!!!!!!!
  • Talk to your neighbors about their dog, and if that doesn't work, shoot it.(NOT REALLY!!! I have a dog myself, and I love her very much. That would be a horrible thing to do. So don't kill it!)
  • I would first talk to the neighbours if they are reasonable people. If not, I would call the police and ask they keep your name confidential.
  • 3 words.....lock n' load
  • You can report them as in violantion of noise ordiance to police. Or talk to the owners. In most cases there is nothing you can do. About the only thing you can do is hope they move or to move yourself. Or i guess a little bit of antifreze would work but that is not the best thing to do. But it is a tempting thought been there delt with neighbors with dogs like that and that didn't give a shit, but I think you can get in trouble for that plus it is inhumane to do that.
