  • Yeah...I was going to think of some pop culture quip, but didn't feel like it. Sorry I got nothing. Answer: Search your town's history, there might be a haunted house or something of that nature. Cemetery wouldn't be bad either.
  • Once when I was a child, I went to a neighbood home, and there was a scarecrow on the landing on the stairs. As we went to leave he jumped up and scared us to death LOL..Just takes any outfit, sit, but dont move..
  • Apple bobbing - fill washing up bowls (enough for one bowl per team) half full with tepid water, throw in a few apples, then the kids have a relay where they have to dunk their heads into the water to try and take a bite of one of the apples, without using their hands. Treacle toffee dunking – hide some treacle toffee (or maltesers, or marshmallows or anything else that’s fairly small) in a bowl or deep plate full of plain flour. The kids take it in turns (or teams if you have enough children to play it as a relay) to run up to the bowl/plate and try to find one of the pieces of toffee just by using their mouth – no hands! Marshmallow dipping – using two chairs about 2 metres apart, lay a broom handle, cane of even string/rope across the backs of the chairs, so that you can hang string in between the chairs. On each length of string, tie a marshmallow – flumps are the best - or chunk of banana or treat sized mars/chocolate bar. The children have to run up to the strings and, without using their hands, have to try and bite off the sweet from the string. Very funny and quite frustrating if the string keeps moving! Chocolate feast – can be played with 4 or more players aged 4 upwards. You will need: A scarf, pair of gloves and a hat placed in the middle of the circle A knife and fork placed in the middle of the circle An 800g bar of chocolate (dairy milk or similar) placed in the middle of the circle - still wrapped up! A dice – around the edge of the circle The players sit in a circle and take turns to roll the dice. If a player rolls a six, then he/she runs to the middle of the circle puts on the scarf, hat & gloves and, using the knife & fork tries to cut a piece of chocolate to eat. Meanwhile, the players in the circle continue to take turns to throw the dice. The player in the middle can eat as much chocolate as they like before the next player rolls a six and takes over from them. This game becomes quite frantic!
