  • umm, BBQ them? boil them for a minute or so before you put them on and it makes the meat more tender and juicy.
  • Smoking them #1 way, Pressure cooking & then grilling #2 & plain Grilling #3 way. John
  • Marinade them in a trashbag (yes, I am serious) for six to eight hours in the icebox(make sure to knot the end or it defeats the purpose). Cook them about 80% of the way on the grill and then finish them in a foil covered pan in the oven.
  • I parboil the ribs to reduce the amount of fat. Drain or remove them from the hot water and then grill them. When you turn them over the first time is when you add the bbq sauce to the top side. When you flip them over make sure your flame is reduced to eliminate burning. Apply sauce to the 2nd side and continue to cook until the sauce on the first side is cooked into the meat. Flip the ribs and let the 2nd side cook until the sauce is cooked into the meat and then enjoy the ribs. I normally use country style spare ribs as there is more meat and no bones. Enjoy.
  • I rub down the rack with olive oil and seasonings. salt, pepper, ect. I let the rest until they meet room temp. I get my grill nice and hot and cook the ribs on it just until they get some good grill marks and that wonderful flavor. I take the ribs in and wrap them with foil along with my Bar-B-que sauce of choice . Wrap them up tight this could take two wrappings of the foil and cook them at 200 for about 2 hours.I usuall heat up some sauce for on the side or add right on one you remove them from the foil ads the cooking will thin out the sauce in the foil. This is one great way to lip smacking goodness. Hope this works for those who try. Don't forget to remove the membrane from the back. its worth the time. GRILL DOG OUT
  • 1 (5 lb.) slab beef back ribs 1 bunch green onions 3/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/3 c. soy sauce 1 tbsp. honey 1 tbsp. cider vinegar Cut beef into individual ribs, then place inside a glass baking dish. In cup, combine vinegar, soy sauce and ginger for marinade. Pour the marinade you have made over the ribs. Cover tightly and refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning it at least once. Heat coals in grill to medium heat. Place grill rack about 4 inches above the coals. Remove the beef from the marinade. Grill ribs for 20 minutes on each side. Stir honey into the marinade that is left. Brush over both sides of ribs. Grill for about 10 minutes longer on each side. Trim green onions, brush with marinade and grill for 5 minutes, turning once. Serve the ribs garnished with the green onions.
