Maybe they're not boring they just have different interests from you . You can try find more about their interests or talk about yours to find similarity You can lead the conversation Maybe you should confront them and tell them that you don't like when they talk about such things but in an indirect way If you find them boring because they don't talk much maybe they are just shy or nervous so it will be better if you start the conversation and they will warm up to you If you really can't stand them you just can avoid them in extreme cases
