I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not. The only president in my life who has actually embarassed me was Jimmy Carter.

I think he's a good president that freed 50 million people (Afganistan (20 mil) and Iraq(30 mil)) And i have a feeling they like him too.

To see the man represent us to the world? Some obviously are while others aren't. I just wish he'd stop making it so easy for writers to keep coming out with new volumes of Bush-isms. Those books are extremely funny and scary at the same time.

Most people I know can't stand him and change the channel if he ever comes on TV. His rhetoric makes us all look like a bunch of idiots and I hate it. I can't wait till January when we can all start a better chapter in the American life.

I'm not alone in saying I'm beyond embarrassed...I'm ashamed. I seriously hope that not everyone outside of the U.S. think he's a true representation of this country. I can't wait until next January when he is gone for good. It will take a long time to clean up the messes he's left behind.

I am ashamed of the way my country is represented to the world at large. I am ashamed of our entire government and the new candidates as well. I am beyond embarrassed of Bush.

Actually, Jimmie Carter embarrassed me more than any other president. I haven't liked everything Bush did, but he wasn't a wimp like Carter.

No I'm not. I think most people are being too hard on him and putting the blame on him way too much. I'm not embarrassed by any one that I don't personally know but I do think most of the problems is to blame on congress not Bush.

I was too young to vote for him, I even told my mother that I didn't think she should vote for him (she did anyway). So, it's not my fault, and I don't have anything to be embarrassed about.

I am not embarrassed. I think that we should all get back to the days where our President actually was shown respect and referred to only as Mr. President or Sir. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to hold a public office in the first place, let alone when people use their freedom of speech to openly mock and ridicule your every move. Could any of us do our jobs well with all the circus around us critiquing us every time we make a choice people don't agree with?
