    As a huge I Love Lucy fan, I have to stand by the majority and say that the show jumped the shark when they moved to the country.

    yes i agree to..that happened in the 6th season I guess. Also I love lucy episodes started degrading when Jess Openheimer-their producer left the show..Madelyn Pugh and Bob just couldn't make it..I felt Jess was the spirit of the show behind-the-scene..just my opinion. Does anyone know why Jess suddenly left?
