  • If the fuse keeps blowing out there may be a short in the system. Check the wiring, signal box, lights, etc. If there is exposed wire anywhere and it could be shorting out, fix it with electrical tape and see if that works. Hopefully it's in an easy to fix spot. Good Luck
  • i have the same problem except with my tail lights instead. ive gone through like 20 fuses, is yours the 4.3?? mine is and i found a short somewhere in the back of my truck, rewired it and it seems to be fine now.
  • I'm having the same problem on a '96 c1500. The owner's manual shows the BTSI (Brake Transmission Shift Interlock) solenoid is on the same circuit. If you have an owner's manual check for other components listed on the same fuse.
