  • By seeing what kind of an adult she becomes, and what kind of a parent she turns out to be.
  • By how mentally and physically I am available for my kids. Being the parent I NEEDED as a child.Breaking the chain of any negative behavior that was passed down through the generations of my Family.
  • I measure up okay. There is not a such thing, as a perfect parent. We can only do what we think is right and hope for the best.
  • By seeing a smile on my kid's face at the end of the day :-)
  • When I get compliments by strangers on how well behaved my boys are, I know I did something right.
  • My son always knew he was loved and he has turned out exceedingly well by any standards. Now, to be honest, I don't know how much I had to do with it and how much who he is had to do with it..he was never any trouble at all..had an inner calm about him from a very early age. So I think it would take someone outside myself to evaluate that. :)
  • if we get through a dinner at a restaurant without my son crawling under the table and my daughter throwing a fit, I feel like things are moving in the right direction.... ;) (AND, I felt all that good success just tonight!!)
