  • A bar is all i know of but a Ball or a you can place a swirl inside on top of your wrist
  • You can get a bar or a ring but I am going to recommend you not do it. Piercings like that do not heal, ever, and eventually they grow out and you will have to redo it if you want to keep that piercing. I was getting a tat fixed up and there was a chick there who had her forearm pierced and a year later it was infected, not healed and was growing out.
  • Your only safe option is a surface bar, nothing else is likely to heal and something like a ring will almost definitely reject. Wrist piercings are very hard to keep, anyway. If you don't want a huge scar in a short amount of time, go to someone experienced with surface piercings, that will use a short surface bar with flat disk ends instead of balls.
  • You can get a surface wrist piercing with a plastic bar that goes through the skin. I got my wrist pierced a week ago and would advise against it. The piercer will leave extra room on the plastic bar for swelling and because it will stick out... it will get caught on literally EVERYTHING. I had to take mine out because the redness and swelling started going up my whole arm. I'm someone who tolerates a lot of pain and enjoys getting piercings, but honestly... don't get this one done. I have 7 other piercings and nothing has compared to how irritating it is to keep up with this one: avoiding getting it caught on things, constant constant constant cleaning, ice, antibiotics, ibuprofen... STILL got infected. $100 for swelling and pus isn't worth it. Trust the experienced.
