He has Iams food, which he hates, and refuses to eat without the addition of some sort of people food (usually an egg or some veggies). Today I bought him some Beneful, which he seems to like much better. So far I have blended the 2 of them together. Keep your fingers crossed that this works, that stuff is expensive.

Dry. Nutro, Natural Choice. Weight management at the moment. I switch between diet and large breed adult.

My two pit bulls eat Pedigree Large Breed Adult dry food. I had my dachshund on Iams Healthy Naturals, but he hated it. He eats some of the big dogs' food and boiled rice right now, until I can find a kibble he'll eat. Spoiled little bugger will starve himself if I let him.

He is fed only the best. Pedigree canned and Pedigree dry dog food. A can in the morning and a bowl of dry in the late afternoon. Pedigree has the best ingredients for a dog. Off-brands have too many fillers in it, like the first ingredient being corn. the first ingredient should be meat and then corn. Read the labels.
-
they use to eat canned but the smell of the food was disgusting so I changed them to dry food now!

Dry. They LOVE Gravy Train. I don't even have to add water, but if it rains I'm good to go, too!

The Pom (adult) eats dog chow specially formulated for small indoor dogs and the chow/australian shepard mix (3 months old) eats puppy chow for large breed puppies. Both are dry.

Only Dry, never canned, canned is the worst thing you can feed a dog or cat not to mention a huge waste of money. I have a toothless 16 yr old chihuahua here who eats dry, if the kibble is small enough they don't even chew it. They don't need to. Ask any vet and they will tell you unless your dog or cat is sick and can't eat dry, there is NO time you should feed canned. I feed a mix of products here Royal Canin, Eukanuba and Iams.
-
Neither! Breyer's Mud Pie ice cream I can't keep him away from it!!

I feed my dog Arden Grange dry, and on a Saturday she gets half her daily allowance with half a can of the large butchers canned food. Sometimes during the week I throw in sardines.

Dry, the nasty kind! it taste like dog food >_< ...oh

My dog used to eat only Ceaser the wet type. However, I bought a can of President's Choice chucks in gravey and he loves it. At night I used to give him Kibbles and Bits but they have changed the formula and he will not even go near it anymore, never mind eat it. So I have been giving him Top Choice at night now, and he seems to enjoy that.

A few things about commercial pet foods. Most, not all foods are made from foods that do not make the grade for human consumpation. Most are overprocessed to the point that most food value is lost then supplements added Flavor and colors added to make it paltable to the animal and attractive to the buyer. You can make a Goggle search for CPP or Coalition for Pet Protection for some additional information and references. What we feed our pets -our friends is a shame. For those who believe we are what we eat, then please get some information - more then that pretty picture on the bag.
-
I give him both. Right now, he has Beneful hard food and Alpo slices soft food.

We use Drs. Foster & Smith (http://www.ParvoBuster.com/drs-foster-and-smith-healthy-dog-food.php), and we're very happy with it. It contains no filler and no chemicals, and it's made in the USA, rather than China, which was the source of all those dog food scares a year or two ago.
