I was out on my own very early. I moved out when I was 17 and that's when the outside world kicked my tuckass to maturity

I still don't feel like I've grown up. But I would say probably right now, I'm in the process of having to find a job, and nothing makes you grow up more than having to act your age (26) and convince people that you have the skills that they are looking for. It sucks.

18 is when its time to start growing up.

I am 28 and I still don't feel like I've officially grown up!

I officially grew up at age 50. I am going to be 51 very soon. It will be my first year as a grown-up.

I felt I had it all together by 40, and not before. Was pretty neurotic before that!

About thirteen, my family needed me to keep the peices together after my parents' divorce.

22 thats when I got my kids (not from my belly) I turned my entire life around, to make it right for them.....but I'm positive I have plenty more growing up to do

Ten. I was going to a public school farther away than normal. I had to get myself up every morning, fix my breakfast, and get to the bus - all before my parents were even awake. I think I was unsuccessful maybe twice at most the entire year. :o)

I truly felt like an adult when I was 25. Up until then it felt like I was pretending.
