I don't use either one. "It's going to rain this weekend""What are you going to do this weekend?"

Curious. I use both but feel "at the weekend" sounds more stylish.

I say "On". "At" doesn't sound right to me.

I don't think I say either...:) I'd be more likely to say AT the weekend though. How could I be an ON a weekend? That seems weird to me.

I'm afraid I usually say "for" or "this" weekend. What are you going to do "this" weekend. Sometimes I know I've used "on" the weekend.
