In Call of Duty 4, after the nuke goes off, would the sky actually turn a reddish color like it does in the game?

depends where your at around the blast area would be like the colors of lava while directly outside the blast area you wouldnt be able to see anything for the fallout

After a nuclear war the sky would turn red, because of the quantity of dust thrown into the atmosphere. The sun's rays would be blocked from the earth and temperatures would fall. This is the 'nuclear winter'.
