  • The HOA CC & R (Covenants, conditions, and restrictions) has the remedy written into the rules. It usually states after a given number of warning letters, a fine will be assessed. The fine can be per each day of the violation, and grow each day. The HOA often has the right to place a lien on the home, and even sell it to pay off the accumulated fine.
