  • Yes. My father used to smoke and it bothered me after I moved out and came back to visit.
  • only if my kids are with me. i used to smoke so i kinda enjoy the smell.
  • Yes, it bothers me. It makes my nose itch and my eyes water. The worst thing is knowing that my hair and clothes will smell like an ash tray!
  • Ugh, yes. It burns my eyes and makes my throat all dry and scratchy, even if I'm drinking something. Not to mention that I smell like an ashtray, and even my car does for DAYS after I drive home from someone who's been smoking around me. Sorry, but YUCK. I will say, however, that most of my friends who smoke are very concious about it, and will do all they can to make sure the smoke is not coming directly to me. But when you get in confined places where you can't escape it - that's the part I don't like.
  • I used to smoke, and smoke even bothered me when I did! It always made my eyes very dry. Now it also gives me a sore throat and it burns my nose. When I smoked, I was always very considerate to not smoke in my home or car if I had non-smokers with me, I don't understand why it's so difficult to do the same for others.
  • YES, I am a smoker, but I hate second hand smoke, and try my best to step outside.....I do not smoke in my home with my kids, and I'm having surgery in a couple weeks, so I figure thats the best time to quit
  • Yes, but I rarely (if ever) do anything about it - I just move away.
  • Not if they don't mind me peeing on their shoes.
  • Not at all. I smoke but I want to quit.
  • I don't like the smell.. but its not one of those smells like "ffs i gotta get outta here before I puke/passout." its just.. meh
  • Yes,more now since my mother died of lung cancer two years ago. She had not smoked for almost five years.
  • When I gave up smoking for 11 years it was the WORST smell but now I smoke again (me bad!) it's ok again :o)
  • It doesn't bother me much, as long as we're in a fairly open area. Sometimes I actually like the smell of it to be honest.
  • Yes, it's disgusting in every way
  • Yep! I think it's disgusting.
  • I always thought so, even when I was a smoker... Most people do not behave the way I did as a smoker as most smokers are; Rude, inconsiderate and intrusive with their habit and feel the need to stick everything in anyone's face that doesn't agree with their right to do so. Not all smokers are like this I am aware, like in my case as I was always considerate and never even smoked in my own home or car because of my kids... but Most smokers dont care and share second hand smoke with a general disdain for their own health and well being as well as anyone that chooses to share a common space with them. It stinks, it's filthy and I never even liked it when I did smoke.
  • Generally it doesn't bother me. It's only when the smokers are teenagers does it bother me. I ask myself "Really? Who born after the 60s doesn't realize smoking is a deadly addiction... yet still falls for ever-diminishing bad boy/girl image of a smoker."
  • It's very disgusting. Most smokers won't admit how bad they smell but they really stink! ever try to sell a car after a smoker had it? unless you give it away for a loss it's ruined.
  • Yeah, it bothers me a lot. When I see someone smoking, I go the other way. What pisses me off is when someone walks by me while they're smoking and don't have any regard for the people around them.
  • Yes, it does. I can stand it for short periods of time, but if there were a room full of smoke, I would have to leave.
  • Smoking is soemthing I cannot tolerate. I don't even like the smell of smoke on someone's person or clothing. Thankfully, no one I work with or associate with is a smoker.
  • Well if occasionaly someone smokes near my in a cafe or something i dont mind, but if i lived with someone who always constantly smoked then yea it would bother me. My Grandmother has lung caner altho she never had a ciggarette in her life, its because my grandad used to always smoke at home around her (not purposly ofcourse)
  • The smoke usually makes me cough quite a bit. I sometimes have trouble breathing around it.
  • Since i'm an ex-smoker, I never like being around it.
  • Yeah, it smells bad and it makes me cough.
  • No unless the smoke gets to my head and makes me have a headache
  • Only if I'm eating. I am a smoker.
  • It use to, but now that my wife has started it is not that bad. I enjoy being around her even if she is smoking.
  • YES YES YES
  • No I actually like the smell but hate the taste
  • Absolutely. For many reasons. Often, people who smoke never stop to ask the people around them (including their friends) if it's ok if they smoke then and there. Some people are allergic to tobacco or have allergies and sensitivities and some people simply don't want to have to smell like smoke all day or have the smell of smoke disrupting their meal. Not to mention second-hand smoke. Some people also don't like the tossing of cigarette butts on the floor and trashing the environment as it's a smokers mess that they should pick up themselves and not wait around for an imaginary person to come along and do all the work, not to mention the pollutants in the environment. That aside, it definitely bothers me, especially if it's someone I care about, because I don't want to see them hurting themselves. My grandfather died a long slow painful death at the hands of lung cancer, my grandmother died a highly unpleasant death due to emphysema, and my father is currently dying of lung cancer and he's far younger than they ever were. So yes, you better believe it does bother me. I've seen first hand what it does to people and it's a complete nightmare. I wouldn't wish that upon my worse enemy.
  • i hate being around smokers mostly just because they smoke
  • i suffocate around them..I can't bear the smoke
