When I was in high school one of the requirements for graduation was completion of 40 hours of community service.

I know for some schools, in order to graduate, they require you to do community service. But all my community service wouldn't be considered "forced". I do it because...well, it's fun and in the end, the final product is very rewarding.

Jury Duty is community service, and you are mandated by law to do it.

YES. I have to do at least 40 hours of community service before I graduate. Thankfully, I've done more than that. I just need to do the paperwork.
