i could not donate my organs even if i wanted to.
-
No. Family won't agree to that.
-
Sorry want all my bits when I go where ever I'm going
-
yes i am and because if someone can use what I am not using then why not. I guess im just a giving person. Plus I hope I can take control of their body. hahaha
-
Yes, I and my immediate family believe the body left behind after death is nothing more than a pile of recyclable material. We all agree on that and have donor cards in our wallet.
-
yeah, im not gonna need them when im dead.
-
Yes I am. I don't like anything to go to waste, so if there is anything still useful when I die I hope someone else will use it in good health. If nothing useful remains, my body will be donated to the nearest University Medical School. Medical students need bodies to use in their studies, and when they have finished they will have the remains cremated at no expense to the family.
-
Yes i am, i think that if it could save someones life then its definately worth it, they are no good to me when i am gone so i think its something we should all do it!
-
Mrs. Nelson... the word is DONOR. I will not offer up my body parts when I die, just a personal belief I have and many probably think it's nutty but that is just me.
-
Yes,I won't be needing them after I die.I just hope they make sure I'm gone before they harvest!!
-
Im donating my organs to maggots.

I am a registered organ donor. My ex wife's cousin had severe kidney problems and died on the waiting list for a new kidney. After going through that experience I decided that since I will no longer have use for any of my organs when I am dead I might as well allow someone who needs them to have the use of them.
-
Yes. There are thousands of people waiting for organs who will never get them. Most people on organ donor waiting lists die before they receive a transplant. It would be cruel of me to keep an organ from someone after I die and have no more need for it. If there is some small chance that I could help another person live a healthy life, then I am glad to do it.
-
BTW, sorry for the misspelling. It is indeed "DONOR" - I've been mistyping all day.
-
I feel weird about it so no.
-
I am an organ donor. If my death could save someone else's life, then why not?
-
YES! because i think it's one of the best things you can do for someone. it's AMAZING how many people need organs every year. and it's not like i'm going to need them... and it's not going to hurt when they take them out.
-
No, and I am sure some people will scoff at me so I will explain. First of all, despite what you may say the fear of being "given up on" faster if you are a donor is real. If they have someone who has a 75% of making it with your heart but will not survive without it in next 30 minutes, and you have like a 5% chance of surviving, do you really think they are going to keep betting on the 5% chance of saving you? I doubt it. Secondly, dying is rough enough... I want the piece of mind to know that when I die I will be buried with dignity... I hate the idea that as soon as I am dead I am going to but harvested like that. You know the saying "rest in peace"? I've been through enough, just let me have the dignity of not being split open. As for non life essential organs such as kidney, parts of liver, bone marrow, and blood... If I am alive certainly I may choose to give these things to a relative but I'm sorry I just can't get behind post-death donations. If I had a will I probably would put in some clause where if me and my wife/kids are say in a car accident together and she needs my organs and I'm kaput... then in THAT circumstance I would give permission.
-
Yes. Because it is the right thing to do.
-
Yes I am. Millions of people die every year in the US alone from not getting needed transplants.
-
I work in a hospital. It can save lives. I think it is important
-
I'm not but my oldest sister was an organ donor. +5
-
i really wanna be one but i cant get over the fact that a part of my body isnt gonna be with the rest of me even if im dead i know its selfish cz i get how important donating organs is and i really cant do it but i wish i could and maybe one day i will
-
Yes. I'm hoping when I pass; there is something left behind that can be useful to someone; and my husband received a donor bone from someone so I think you should "pay it forward".
-
Yes I am. I know people who's lives were saved because of this.
-
Yes, because when i am dead I wont need them so if someone else wants to use them, fine with me.
-
Yes, 'cause I won't miss them once I've passed.
-
No one has asked me to donate one yet.
-
I was, but my wife made me stop when we were married...
-
I feel guilty giving these things to an innocent party, but I am one.
-
I'm not an organ donor yet. I'm still using them
