  • With the engine off, carefull look at all the small rubber hoses under the hood. There may be a picture somewhere underhood that shows the emission hose routing. Use this if it is there. Check all the small hoses for cracks and check both ends to make sure they are firmly connected. If you find anything bad replace it. If no problems are found, you can buy a can of throttle body cleaner and us it to help. Attach the small tube that comes with the can of cleaner to the can. With the engine running, spray the cleaner on hoses, connections and around the intake manifold. When you spray over an area with a leak the engine will change it's idle speed. Be careful not to use too much cleaner and stay away from moving parts. Good Luck
