Me being a child again. I would listen to Aqua, Spice Girls, climb trees, play with my sisters and just have FUN!

My idealism Non-DRM-protected digital media Decent movies as opposed to the ADD-written, CG-laden crap-fests of late that either induce epilepsy from the fast-paced action or go for low-brow humour that would've insulted my intelligence when I was 7. Cars that were user-servicable PC/Console games that cared more about content than visual appeal An internet full of intelligent people as opposed to any dumbass with $500 and a friend/kid smart enough to wire it up for them or punk kids with either rich parents or library cards. I used to come here to escape from the brainless, immature masses of humanity! Not paying rent. I spent most of the 90s in the military. Sure, it sucked, but at least I had a warm place to sleep at no cost.

1994 : It was the year my eldest child was born and the year before he became seriously ill and almost died.

I had no responsibilities then, and I had nothing to worry about either. I'd very much like to have that back.

The age I was, grunge music, all the travelling I did.

My youth and freedom (early 90's). Got married in 95, had my first son in 97, wouldn't change it for the world though:)

I liked the 80's better, it was a decade of creativity.

being a kid.

Decent cartoons.
-
The music, the clothes, lots of things, oh and me being 17 years younger!!!
-
I would've said being a child again, but when I think about it, what I remember from my childhood is being sad all the time, being bullied and hating my sister like hell (now we get along just fine - she lives more than 200km away from me). It's probably not true, but I can't remember if it used to be otherwise. I do miss not knowing what 'stress' meant, though :(

There seemed to be more variety of music on the radio. Stephen King was writing better fiction...lately, he has gotten back to his roots.

Soundgarden!

Old school HOUSE raves, spiral tribe etc, leaving a club at 3am and gathering in a car park with 100s of cars waiting to find out the secret location of massive rave in the middle of nowhere....arhhh they were the days!
