Yes and it was horrible, the person was absolutely useless and my boss said,"you know what to do." I said can't we give him time? boss said no he goes now so go and do it. It was not a nice feeling but I eased it by giving him a full weeks wages for one days work.........Boss wasnt happy :o)

Down through the years I can't even count how many people I've had to fire. I worked in management for years. It's not fun, but if they aren't doing their job and you can't seem to get the problems worked out, you just don't have a choice.

No, but if I could, some of the people in my office would have been gone long ago.

Yes, He wasn't showing up for work on time and i could not count on him to be there. so I told him it wasn't going to work out and gave him two weeks notice.

I never lost any sleep over it, if they were so bad that they couldn't do their job or had been done on a misconduct I have no sympathy.

Too many times. I worked in a field where fraud was rampant - human services and our primary contract was through the government. Many people seem to think it is okay to steal from the government and from disabled individuals. In a year's time I probably fired about 25 people.
