I only ask questions that I already know the answer to for two reasons. 1. to get points 2. to make people think and excercise the gray matter.

One time have I done that, and it worked out pretty good for me.

Occasionally, but they were good questions so I would ask them. I never did it to test anyone's credibility though. I usually do this when I see so many inane questions that I have to bring some form of credibility back into 'The Bag'.

Many of times. This way I can get other people's point of view about the topic's.

I ask questions I know the answer to but not to check anyone's credibility but rather to help educate and also to learn what I don't know about the same subject.
